AI Strategy Coach

What it is

Chat-based strategy coach grounded in YOUR real bot configs + 90-day P&L. Ask questions like "which of my Grid Bots is underperforming?" or "based on my win rate, what Kelly fraction should I use?" — the coach reads your actual data and answers based on what you have actually traded. Strategy-level guidance only: it will not give buy/sell advice or price predictions. Conversations are saved and searchable in the sidebar.

How to think about it

Most AI chatbots talk in generic platitudes because they don't see your real situation. This one is different — it pulls your live Grid Bot / Smart Trade / DCA Safety / CEX configs + your 90-day fills and answers IN CONTEXT. "Underperforming Grid Bot" means it can name the specific bot and the specific config issue. The trade-off: the coach is intentionally restricted from giving market advice. No "should I buy ETH" answers, no price forecasts. Strategy coaching only.

Step-by-step

  1. Open the Coach + read the 4 starter prompts

Elite → AI Strategy Coach. Empty state shows 4 starter prompts: "Look at all my Grid Bots and tell me which ones are underperforming and why" / "My DCA Safety bot keeps hitting the last safety order — what should I change?" / "Based on my 90-day win rate and avg win/loss, what Kelly fraction should I use?" / "Which of my strategies is most sensitive to a regime shift from ranging to trending?". Click any one to send.

  2. Or ask your own question

Type into the composer at the bottom. The coach has access to your live bot list, 90-day fills, win rate, max DD, Sharpe per strategy, and the current market regime classifications. Frame questions specifically: "my BTC/USDT Grid Bot on Coinbase" beats "my grid bot". Specific questions get specific answers.

  3. Read the response in context

The coach names specific bots, references specific numbers from your actual P&L, and proposes specific config changes. Example: "Your BTC/USDT Grid Bot has fired 12 round-trips with -2.1% net — the grid range is too wide for current BTC volatility. Consider tightening to ±5% instead of ±15%." Take recommendations as STRATEGY input, not orders.

  4. Follow up in the same conversation

The coach maintains conversation context. After the first answer, ask "what specific range should I use?" or "show me which trades hit the floor first" — it remembers the BTC/USDT Grid Bot context and answers within it.

  5. Save / switch / delete conversations

Sidebar on the left shows past conversations with titles and last-updated timestamps. Click any to resume. New Conversation button starts fresh. Delete (trash icon on hover) removes the conversation permanently.

  6. Notice what the coach refuses

The coach will REFUSE to answer: "Should I buy ETH?" / "Will BTC hit $100k?" / "Tell me which memecoin to buy". This is by design. The coach is not a market predictor. It is a strategy coach grounded in YOUR data — point it at strategy questions, not market questions.

Tips & pitfalls

  • Specific beats general. "Look at my BTC/USDT Grid Bot on Coinbase" gives the coach context to answer with names + numbers. "What is wrong with my bots" returns a vague checklist. The coach is only as useful as the question you ask it.
  • The coach reads your REAL fills + configs. If you ask "what is my win rate on Smart Trade?", it pulls your actual Smart Trade ledger and computes the answer. There is no generic "win rates are typically..." padding — answers are about YOUR account.
  • Strategy questions are in scope. Market questions are not. Asking "should I rebalance my portfolio away from ETH?" is allowed (strategy question about position sizing). Asking "should I buy ETH today?" is not (price prediction). The boundary is between HOW you trade and WHAT to trade.
  • Conversations persist server-side. Close the browser, come back next week, resume the conversation in the sidebar with full context. Useful for ongoing coaching threads ("we discussed tightening my Grid Bot last week — here is what happened").
  • Rate limiting protects fair use. The coach response may include a rate limit notice ("rate limit: 8/10 today"). Most users won't hit it. Heavy users may pace themselves across days.
  • Recommendations need validation. The coach can suggest "tighten grid range to ±5%" but you should run that config through Stress Test + Paper Trading before going live. The coach grounds in your past performance; the future is not your past.
  • Suggested prompts are starter examples. Customize them for your own bots. "My DCA Safety bot keeps hitting the last safety order" only works if you have a DCA Safety bot. Adapt the prompt language to match your active strategies.
  • NOT financial advice. The coach is a strategy thought-partner, not a fiduciary. Disagree with a recommendation? Override it. Want a second opinion? Cross-check with Stress Test results, Strategy Heatmap, your trading journal.
