Community Achievements

What it is

Tiered achievement badges (Bronze / Silver / Gold / Platinum rarity tiers) earned through community activity. 5 category tabs (All / Chat / Trading / Community / Special). Achievements have progress fractions, so locked items show "almost there" rails for closest-to-earning. Single source of truth = profile endpoint, so achievements shown here match what appears inside My Profile.

How to think about it

Achievements are passive — they unlock automatically as you hit milestones. No claim button, no XP grind UI. The highest-tier earned is reflected as a hero flourish on the Achievements page so visitors see your top tier at a glance. Some achievements stack with chat reactions (Elite-only achievements unlock exclusive reactions).

Step-by-step

  1. Open Achievements

Community → Achievements. Hero shows your earned count + total + completion %. 4 rarity tiers visible at a glance (Bronze copper / Silver slate / Gold amber / Platinum violet — increasing prestige).

  2. Filter by category

5 tabs across the top: All / Chat (room participation), Trading (verified calls + bots), Community (social — followers / tips / streaks), Special (event-only, time-limited or rare actions). Counts per category shown next to each tab.

  3. Check the "Almost there" rail

Up to 3 closest-to-earning locked achievements, sorted by progress %. Useful for "what should I focus on this week" planning. Example: "Trusted Caller — 17/20 resolved calls (85%)" tells you 3 more calls earns the badge.

  4. Browse earned badges

Each earned achievement shows: tier ring color (bronze/silver/gold/platinum), name, criteria, date earned. Click for details. Earned achievements are sorted by date earned (newest first) by default.

  5. Browse locked badges with progress bars

Locked items show progress bars when the achievement is metric-based (e.g., "messageCount: 47/100 — 47% to next tier"). Some locked items have NO progress (event-only achievements that activate during specific time windows).

  6. Watch for tier upgrades

Many achievements have ALL 4 tiers — Bronze (50 actions), Silver (500), Gold (5000), Platinum (50000). Earning Bronze unlocks the next tier as Locked-with-progress. Progress bar shows distance to Silver, then Gold, then Platinum.

Tips & pitfalls

  • Achievements are passive — no claim button. The unlock happens automatically when your metric crosses the threshold. You see the achievement appear in your Earned section + a notification.
  • Highest-tier achievement earned is your "top tier" — shown as a hero flourish on the page. Useful as a signal: a Platinum-holder is a long-term high-engagement member; a Bronze-holder is newer.
  • Some Special achievements are EVENT-ONLY. They unlock only during specific time windows (e.g., "First 100 users to verify a Solana wallet during launch week"). Check back during platform events.
  • Elite-only achievements unlock exclusive chat reactions. Premium feature — a paid tier perk layered on top of organic activity.
  • Single source of truth = same data as inside My Profile achievement section. If you see an achievement here, others see it there. No double-counting.
  • Progress fractions update in real-time. If you sent 47 messages and the achievement triggers at 50, three more messages = unlock. The bar reflects this granularity.
  • Categories prevent overwhelming the user. Filter to "Trading" to see only call-related achievements when you are focused on trading; filter to "Chat" when focused on social.
  • Bronze → Silver → Gold → Platinum is INCREASING difficulty. Bronze typically takes ~1 week of activity; Platinum is months-to-years. Stacking 4 tiers of one achievement is a long-term commitment, not a sprint.
