DCA Scheduler

5 min read

What it is

Dollar-Cost Averaging on autopilot. Schedule recurring DEX swaps — "Buy $100 of ETH every Monday for 30 weeks". Each execution uses the smart router for best price. Removes emotion and timing from accumulation.

How to think about it

DCA is accessed from the DCA tab on the Swap page. Once configured, executions run automatically on schedule until completed or cancelled.

Step-by-step

  1. Pick the pair

Select what you're spending (usually USDC) and what you're buying (e.g., ETH). Same token picker as the Swap tab — supports any token.

  2. Set amount per swap

How much you want to swap each time. $50-$500 typical for retail users.

  3. Choose frequency

Hourly (high-frequency, for short-term accumulation), Daily (most common), Weekly (good for long-term holders).

  4. Set total swaps

How many times to execute. Combined with frequency this defines duration: 30 daily swaps = 30 days; 12 weekly swaps = 3 months.

  5. Review and start

The summary shows total investment over the period. Click Start DCA to activate. Active schedules appear below with progress (X/Y completed).

Tips & pitfalls

  • DCA into uncorrelated assets — running 3 separate DCAs into ETH, SOL, and LINK is more resilient than dumping everything into one token.
  • Best chains for DCA: Base or Polygon. Daily $100 swaps on Ethereum get destroyed by gas. On Base, $0.10 gas per swap.
  • You can have multiple active DCA schedules running simultaneously — one for each accumulation thesis.
  • Cancel anytime — past swaps stay in your history; only future scheduled swaps are removed.
  • Each DCA execution shows up in your Swap History tab with the standard MEV analysis and confirmation.
