My Channel Earnings

6 min read

What it is

Creator-side dashboard for users who own approved PAID channels. Hero KPI strip: active subscribers, MRR (monthly recurring revenue), total lifetime earnings, payouts count, projected annual revenue, platform fee taken. Per-channel cards with tier breakdown (Tier 1 / Tier 2 / Tier 3 active subs + monthly revenue per tier) and chain breakdown (Base / Polygon / Arbitrum / Ethereum payouts per chain). Full payout history with on-chain tx hash links. Empty state for users without paid channels: clear 5-step monetization flow.

How to think about it

Sister page to Paid Channels (the overall feature). My Channel Earnings is YOUR creator analytics dashboard — only useful if you have at least one APPROVED paid channel. Currently feature-flagged OFF at launch per platform policy (paid channels infrastructure built but disabled until activation). Once active, this is where you watch your monetization performance.

Step-by-step

  1. Open My Channel Earnings

Community → My Channel Earnings. If you have NO paid channels yet, you see the empty state with the 5-step monetization flow. If you have approved paid channels, you see the hero + per-channel cards.

  2. Read the hero KPI strip

6 KPIs across all your paid channels: Active subscribers (current count), MRR (monthly recurring revenue in USDC), Total earnings (lifetime), Payouts (number of on-chain payouts received), Projected annual revenue (MRR × 12), Platform fee total (lifetime 20% haythix kept).

  3. Drill into per-channel cards

Each paid channel = one card. Shows: channel name, member count, tier breakdown (Tier 1 / Tier 2 / Tier 3 active subs + monthly $ per tier), chain breakdown (Base / Polygon / Arbitrum / Ethereum payouts per chain), recent payouts list with date + amount + tx hash link.

  4. Click any payout tx hash to verify on-chain

Each payout row has a tx hash link → opens the chain explorer (Basescan / Polygonscan / Arbiscan / Etherscan). Confirms the payout actually settled on-chain. Useful for tax reporting + audit trails.

  5. Track per-tier mix

Tier breakdown shows which tier subscribers gravitate toward. If 80% of your subs are on Tier 1 ($5/month), introduce a Tier 2 ($25/month) with better perks. If Tier 3 ($100/month) has zero subs, lower the price or reduce the perks gap.

  6. Empty state: how to apply for monetization

If you do not own a paid channel yet, the empty state shows the 5-step flow: (1) Create a custom channel from Discover Channels, (2) Click 💰 Monetize button in channel header, (3) Set 1-3 subscription tiers ($1-$500/month each), (4) Submit for admin approval (24-48 hours typical), (5) Subscribers pay USDC → you keep 80% on-chain, instantly.

  7. Pair with Paid Channels article for the full feature

This page is the CREATOR DASHBOARD. The Paid Channels article (also Community menu) covers the overall feature: eligibility (Pro+, 30+ days, 50+ followers, Verified Caller), subscriber-side flow, Trust Card stats, auto-enforcement for inactive creators, cancellation policy.

Tips & pitfalls

  • 80/20 split. Creators keep 80%, platform keeps 20%. Lifetime platform fee shown on hero so you see the running cost transparency.
  • Payouts settle ON-CHAIN automatically — no manual claim button. You see USDC arrive in your payout wallet within minutes of a subscription. Tx hashes are verifiable forever.
  • MRR is the canonical number to watch monthly. If MRR is climbing month-over-month, your monetization is healthy. If it is flat, your perks are not differentiating enough. If it is dropping, subscribers are churning — check refund rate + cancellation reasons.
  • Projected annual revenue = MRR × 12. Honest projection — assumes zero growth + zero churn. Real annual will be higher OR lower depending on your trajectory.
  • Chain breakdown reveals which chain your payout wallet is on. Most creators receive on Base (lowest fees). Diversify if you have multiple wallets.
  • Recent payouts list tracks the last N payouts. Useful for spotting "missing" payouts (you expected one + did not get it — check subscriber count vs activity).
  • Tier mix is a pricing signal. 80% on Tier 1 = either Tier 2 perks are not worth the upgrade OR you need to raise Tier 1 price. 0% on Tier 3 = Tier 3 too expensive OR perks too sparse.
  • For payout wallet setup, see Settings → Payout Wallet. Currently 4 chains supported: Base / Polygon / Arbitrum / Ethereum.
