Signal Channels

What it is

A creator marketplace where users publish trade calls and others subscribe to receive them. Calls are parsed automatically when posted in chat ("$BTC long target 70k stop 65k") and tracked with a verifiable accuracy score. Verified creators earn a green badge after meeting strict thresholds (20+ decided calls, 60%+ accuracy, 30+ days active).

How to think about it

Three tabs: Browse channels (find creators to follow), My signals (your inbox of received calls), My channel (create or manage your own). Verified-only filter on Browse hides anyone who hasn't earned the badge yet.

Step-by-step

  1. Browse channels tab

List of all public signal channels with creator name, channel name, follower count, accuracy %, total calls. Verified badge on creators who passed the threshold. Toggle "Verified only" to hide unverified channels.

  2. Subscribe to a channel

Click Subscribe on any channel card. Their future calls land in your My signals inbox. Subscription is free for v1 (paid channels are a separate feature on the paid-channels page). Unsubscribe anytime.

  3. My signals (inbox)

Stream of recent calls from creators you follow. Each call: symbol, direction (long/short), entry, target, stop, posted timestamp. You decide whether to act — the platform never auto-executes another user's calls.

  4. My channel — create

Open My channel tab → Create channel. Pick a channel name + 1-line description. Your channel becomes immediately browsable by others. Verification badge is automatic once you meet thresholds.

  5. Posting calls

Calls are auto-detected in any chat room — format like "$BTC long target 70k stop 65k" or "$ETH short entry 3500 target 3200". The parser logs them with your channel and starts tracking outcomes. No UI form to fill — just post normally.

  6. Verified creator policy

Badge requires 20+ decided calls (resolved against real OHLCV) AND 60%+ accuracy AND 30+ days active. Leaderboard ranks by Wilson lower bound — a careful 50-call creator outranks a lucky 3-call one.

Tips & pitfalls

  • A verified badge is a starting filter, not a guarantee. Even 70%-accurate creators have losing streaks. Size positions you can survive a streak of misses on.
  • Sample size matters more than headline accuracy. A creator at 65% accuracy with 100 calls is more trustworthy than one at 80% with 5 calls. Wilson CI surfaces this.
  • Calls fade after 7 days unless resolved. If a target wasn't hit but stop wasn't triggered, the call is excluded — not marked hit or miss.
  • You can post calls without creating a formal channel. The parser tracks calls per user. Creating a channel just adds discoverability.
  • Subscribers don't see your call history before they subscribe. Build your track record FIRST, then promote the channel.
