What it is

Pulls your REAL trade history from connected CEXes via read-only CCXT API and computes a verification badge you can attach to Marketplace listings, Copy Trading bot cards, and Top Traders leaderboard entries. 30-day rolling window. Refreshes once per hour (rate limited because exchange-history pulls are expensive). Pro+ tier required to publish — anyone can view their own stats.

How to think about it

Marketing claims like "+150% last quarter" are worthless without proof. This page replaces them with exchange-confirmed numbers: your real win rate, real ROI, real max drawdown, real trade count — straight from the exchange order history. Verified sellers get a green badge that appears on Marketplace strategy cards and Copy Trading leaderboard rows. The badge is the difference between "trust me bro" and "the exchange confirmed it".

Step-by-step

  1. Connect at least one CEX in Settings → Connections

    Read-only API permissions are required — we never withdraw, never trade on your behalf. Supported: 15 exchanges via CCXT (Coinbase, Binance US, Kraken, Bybit, OKX, KuCoin, Gate.io, Bitget, HTX, Crypto.com, Bitfinex, Gemini, Bitstamp, Poloniex, Binance global). Verify Track Record will refuse to run without at least one connected exchange.

  2. Click "Run First Verification"

    Backend fetches the last 30 days of fills from your connected exchanges and computes: total trades, win rate, total realized P&L, max drawdown, longest winning streak, longest losing streak, average win, average loss, and qualifiesForBadge boolean.

  3. Read the qualifiesForBadge result

    True = you meet the threshold for a verified badge (typically ≥5 trades, win rate AND realized P&L positive, max DD within acceptable bounds). False = you do not yet qualify — the panel explains why. Increase trade count or wait for positive realized P&L before re-running.

  4. Verify Pro+ tier to publish

    Anyone can VIEW their own track record stats for free. PUBLISHING (attaching the verified badge to Marketplace listings, Copy Trading bots, etc.) requires Pro tier or higher. The page shows a Pro+ banner if you are not on a qualifying tier.

  5. Refresh once per hour as needed

    Hit Refresh to re-pull. Rate limited to once per hour because exchange-history pulls are expensive. If you hit the cooldown, the page shows a friendly info notice ("you can refresh again in X minutes") — NOT a red error. Wait the cooldown out or set a calendar reminder.

  6. Use the badge across the platform

    Once verified, the badge appears automatically on: Marketplace strategy listings you publish, Copy Trading leaderboard rows when your bot is public, Top Traders profile cards, paid channel applications. No manual badge management — the system reads your verification status from the same backend record.

Tips & pitfalls

  • Trade count matters more than win rate. A 70% win rate on 8 trades is statistical luck; a 55% win rate on 200 trades is meaningful. Hit the 50+ trades threshold before publishing strategies.
  • Max drawdown is the most-clicked metric on Marketplace cards. If your DD is high (>30%), be honest about it in your strategy description — community trust compounds over time.
  • 30-day window is intentional. Most retail strategies have a "good month" — verifying weekly across many months exposes whether the good month was skill or randomness. The Trust Card on community profile shows longer windows.
  • Refresh COOLDOWN is not a failure. The 429 response is rendered as an info banner ("already up to date") — the platform protects you from spamming exchange APIs that would either rate-limit your account or charge you for pulls.
  • Connecting MULTIPLE exchanges aggregates their trades together. This is correct — your real history is what happened across ALL your trading venues, not one in isolation.
  • If your verification stops qualifying after a bad month, the badge is removed automatically. There is no "grandfathered" badge — current stats determine current badge status. Pre-warn your followers if your performance regime shifts.
  • Verified badge ≠ guarantee of future performance. It is a snapshot of the last 30 days of real fills. Past results never guarantee future returns; the badge only proves the past was real.
