Volume Health Widget

7 min read

What it is

Embeddable 0-100 health badge for your token, computed every 5 minutes from 6 real factors: volume consistency, trading activity (unique traders), buy/sell balance, liquidity depth, holder distribution, organic patterns. 5 rating tiers (excellent / good / fair / poor / pending). Output is a live SVG badge you paste anywhere — website, Discord, Twitter card, GitHub README. Score auto-updates so the badge always reflects the latest data. Source badges (MARKET DATA / DEX METRICS / ON-CHAIN / HEURISTIC) tell viewers which factor came from which data source.

How to think about it

Buyers see your price chart but cannot tell at a glance if the volume is organic, the liquidity is real, or the holders are spread out. Founders waste hours answering "is this token healthy?" in Discord. This widget gives you ONE shareable badge that answers the question publicly. 10 chains supported. Sample tokens (USDC, WETH, UNI, AAVE, LINK, PEPE) pre-loaded so you can see what a real health report looks like before registering your own.

Step-by-step

  1. Read the "What is this tool" panel + browse sample tokens

Top of page, expandable pink card. Explains the problem and the 3-step usage. Below that, click any of the 6 sample tokens (USDC stable / WETH wrapped major / UNI + AAVE DeFi blue chips / LINK oracle / PEPE memecoin) to see what a real health report looks like across token categories.

  2. Register your token

Click Register Token. Enter display name, contract address, network (10 chains: Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, BSC, Avalanche, Blast, Linea, Scroll). Initial computation takes 30-60 sec.

  3. Read the 0-100 score + 5-tier rating

Score ring shows 0-100. Rating: EXCELLENT (green, healthy on most factors), GOOD (blue), FAIR (amber, mixed signals), POOR (red, multiple factors flagged), PENDING (gray, data still gathering). Below 50 is a red flag for sophisticated investors.

  4. Drill into the 6 factor breakdowns

Each factor card shows: progress bar (0-100), source badge (MARKET DATA / DEX METRICS / ON-CHAIN / HEURISTIC), and an explanation. Volume consistency = is daily volume stable or volatile? Trading activity = how many unique traders? Buy/sell balance = healthy ~50/50, unhealthy when one side dominates. Liquidity depth = enough liquidity to absorb realistic trade sizes. Holder distribution = are tokens concentrated in top 10 wallets? Organic patterns = does the trading pattern look human?

  5. Get the embed code

Click Embed on any registered token. 5 format options: HTML iframe (websites), Markdown image (READMEs / docs), BBCode (forums), direct URL (Twitter cards, Discord previews), JSON API endpoint (programmatic access for your dashboards or external monitoring).

  6. Paste embed code where viewers will see it

Project website above-the-fold. Discord/Telegram pinned message. Twitter card. GitHub README. Any place buyers go to research your token. Badge auto-refreshes — no manual update needed when score changes.

  7. Monitor + share trajectory

Score updates every 5 minutes. Trajectory matters more than absolute number — a token improving from 60 to 80 over 3 months tells a story; a flat 90 with no context does not. Share screenshots of monthly progress to demonstrate momentum.

Tips & pitfalls

  • Score updates every 5 minutes — far more frequent than the old 24-hour cycle. Embed badges always show the latest score, so viewers do not see stale data.
  • Sample tokens cover the full spectrum: USDC = stablecoin (different scoring logic), WETH = wrapped major, UNI/AAVE = DeFi blue chips (high scores expected), LINK = oracle infra, PEPE = memecoin (lower scores normal). Browse these to understand how scoring varies by token type before judging your own.
  • NOT a legitimacy certification. The score measures whether observable TRADING metrics look organic. It does NOT prove the project is audited, compliant, has good tokenomics, or has a real team. Use alongside Listing Readiness Scorecard for the legal/compliance angle.
  • Source badges tell viewers WHERE each factor came from: MARKET DATA (volume / market cap from price providers), DEX METRICS (liquidity / pool depth from DEX pools), ON-CHAIN (holder distribution from chain queries), HEURISTIC (organic-pattern detection from our analysis). Builds trust by showing the receipts.
  • Volume consistency factor catches a lot of fake-volume tokens. Wash-traded volume tends to be SUSPICIOUSLY uniform across days; real organic volume has the natural variance of human trading cycles. Buyers see this in the score even if they cannot articulate it.
  • Embed widget is publicly visible — anyone with the URL can see the score. Use this as a transparency signal: "We are confident enough in our metrics to show them in real-time, embedded everywhere."
  • Sister tool: Competitor Tracker. Same engine, opposite direction — Volume Health for YOUR token (broadcast quality), Competitor Tracker for THEIR tokens (research suspicions).
  • PENDING rating means data is still gathering. New tokens often show PENDING for the first 24-72 hours while we accumulate enough volume + holder + trading samples to score reliably. Not a bug.
