getting-started

Your first unified portfolio view (2 CEX + 1 wallet on Aggregator)

Stop tab-switching to ask "what is my total exposure"

15 min setup + ongoing · beginner

What you'll have when finished

  • Have one unified view of every connected exchange + wallet
  • Understand the LIVE/CACHED/STALE/UNAVAILABLE source badges
  • Know when to use Venues view vs Assets view

Before you start

  • Wallet aggregation is READ-ONLY — saving an address gives haythix no ability to sign or move funds
  • CACHED is normal — venues cache up to 60 min to protect against rate-limit bans
  • UNAVAILABLE shows as "—" not "$0" — investigate the connection, do not assume zero

Walkthrough

  1. Connect 2 CEX accounts via Settings → Connections

Open Settings → Connections. Connect 2 different exchanges (e.g., Coinbase + Binance US). Read-only CCXT keys — no trade, no withdrawal. Both must show green status before continuing.

Success criteria: Both CEX connections show green status with recent successful balance pulls

  2. Save 1 wallet address via Settings → Wallets

Same Settings page → Wallets tab. Paste your Ethereum/Polygon/Base wallet address (0x...). No signing required — we just need the address to read balances via public RPC. Add at least one wallet to demonstrate the multi-source aggregation.

Success criteria: One wallet address saved with successful balance pull

  3. Open Multi-Account Aggregator

Elite → Multi-Account Aggregator. Page loads with the 4 KPI cards populating: Total portfolio value, CEX balances, Wallet balances, P&L for default 30-day window.

Success criteria: All 4 KPI cards show non-zero values (or "—" for an unavailable venue)

  4. Read the source badges on each venue

Scroll to the venue list. Each row has a source badge: LIVE / CACHED / STALE / UNAVAILABLE. LIVE = just fetched. CACHED = ≤60 min old, still trustworthy. STALE = >60 min old. UNAVAILABLE = fetch failed — investigate the connection.

Success criteria: You can articulate the badge state of each connected venue

  5. Switch to Assets view

Toggle between Venues view (default) and Assets view. Assets view groups by token: USDC across all venues = one row showing total USDC + breakdown per venue. Useful for "how much ETH do I own total".

Success criteria: You see at least one token aggregated across multiple venues

  6. Change P&L window to 7 days

P&L preset row: 7 / 30 / 60 / 90 / Custom. Click 7. KPI updates to show 7-day return %. Sparkline chart redraws to show last 7 days of portfolio value. Useful for "what did I do this week".

Success criteria: 7-day return shown in KPI AND sparkline chart shows 7 daily points

  7. Try Hide mode

Eye icon toggle top-right. All dollar values become ••••••. Useful when screen-sharing or sitting in a coffee shop. Toggles instantly — your data is never hidden from the backend, only from the visible UI. Resets to Show on page reload.

Success criteria: All KPI cards show ••••••

What's next

You have one unified portfolio view. Next: bookmark this page as your daily-check homepage. Habit: open Aggregator once a day instead of clicking through 4 venues. If the 30-day P&L sparkline shows a downward shape that surprises you, drill into the Assets view to find which token bled, then to the venue view to find which exchange held it during the drawdown.
