getting-started

Read the Live Trade Feed without falling for noise

Spot crowd signals; decide whether to broadcast your own

15 min · beginner

What you'll have when finished

  • Know what each of the 11 event types means
  • Be able to spot a multi-publisher trend cluster
  • Have decided whether to opt in as a publisher

Before you start

  • NOT a buy signal — feed is observational, decisions are based on setups you cannot see
  • Privacy model: only display name + tier + event + symbol exposed; wallet / balance / position size stay private
  • Quiet feed (low publishers / low Last 24h) is not a bug — feed grows in value with publisher count

Walkthrough

  1. Open Live Trade Feed + read the explainer

Community → Live Trade Feed. Pink "What is this tool" panel explains the 12-second refresh + opt-in semantics + privacy model. 30 seconds of context.

Success criteria: You have read the explainer + understand the privacy model

  2. Read the 4 KPI cards

Publishers / Total events / Last 24h / Now. Healthy feed: > 10 publishers, > 50 events in last 24h, "Now" under 5 minutes. Low numbers = quiet period or pre-launch; the feed gets more valuable as publishers grow.

Success criteria: You can interpret all 4 KPI numbers

  3. Scroll the unfiltered feed for 2 minutes

Default view shows all events from all publishers. Scroll for 2 min — get a feel for the pace, tier mix, event-type mix. Each row: emoji, publisher display name + tier badge, event message, relative timestamp.

Success criteria: You have a feel for the typical event rate and publisher mix

  4. Filter to "Smart Trade opened" chip

Click the 🟢 Smart Trade opened filter chip. Feed now shows ONLY new position openings. Watch for clusters: 3+ publishers opening longs on the same symbol within 10 min = collective signal worth noting.

Success criteria: You can name the most-opened symbol in the last 30 min OR confirm no cluster pattern

  5. Filter to "Stop-loss filled" chip

Click 🛑 stop-loss filled. Multiple stop-losses on the same symbol within minutes = something just broke. Watch this filter for early warning of fast moves your own bots have not caught yet.

Success criteria: You understand stop-loss-cluster as an early-warning signal

  6. Filter to "regime_switch" chip

Click 🌐 regime switch. Shows when the Conditional Bot regime classifier flipped on which reference pair. Useful for "did BTC just flip from Range to Downtrend?" — implications cascade through every conditional bot watching BTC.

Success criteria: You can identify the most-recent regime switch and its direction

  7. Decide whether to opt in as a publisher

Opt-in card below the explainer. Toggle ON + Display Name (max 32 chars) = your real bot events appear in the feed under your name. Privacy: wallet / exchange / balance / position size NEVER exposed. Toggle OFF anytime.

Success criteria: You have made a conscious opt-in or opt-out decision (not just defaulted)

What's next

You understand the feed mechanics. Habit: 5-min daily scan of "Smart Trade opened" + "regime_switch" filters during your trading window. Use as ONE signal, not the only one. For ASYNC consumption of YOUR events into Discord / Slack, use Outbound Webhooks (Discover menu) — same data, your channels.
