Audit your Uniswap V3 LP positions in 5 minutes

Find which of your positions are still earning fees and which are idle

10 min · beginner

What you'll have when finished

  • Know which of your V3 positions are in-range vs out-of-range
  • See total unclaimed fees across all chains
  • Have at least one position simulated with a tighter range

Before you start

  • LP Studio is READ-ONLY — it does not execute rebalances. Execute via the actual Uniswap UI
  • Out-of-range positions earn ZERO fees while idle — rebalance or remove
  • Unclaimed fees do NOT compound. Collect them on Uniswap UI to put them back to work

Walkthrough

  1. Open Uniswap V3 LP Studio

Elite → Uniswap V3 LP Studio. Hero shows the wallet input + chain picker.

Success criteria: Wallet input field visible

  2. Paste your wallet address

Wallet field accepts any 0x... EVM address. Paste YOUR wallet (or any public wallet you want to inspect — the tool is read-only, no signing). Leave the chain dropdown on All Chains for a full portfolio scan.

Success criteria: Wallet field shows your address; chain = All Chains

  3. Click Scan positions

Backend queries every supported chain in parallel. Takes 2-15 seconds depending on how many positions you have. Per-chain errors (e.g., one RPC rate-limited) are surfaced individually — the working chains still return.

Success criteria: Position list AND 3 KPI cards populated

  4. Read the 3 KPI cards

Positions found = total V3 NFT count. Total position value = sum in USD. Unclaimed fees = real money waiting to be collected. If unclaimed fees > $50, go collect them on Uniswap UI before reading further.

Success criteria: You know your totals AND whether unclaimed fees are worth collecting

  5. Scan position cards for in-range vs out-of-range

Each card has a green in-range badge or red out-of-range badge. Green = earning fees. Red = idle dead capital. Count how many of yours are out of range. Note: a position with a tight range that briefly went out of range LAST WEEK is still classified out-of-range NOW.

Success criteria: You can name how many of your positions are out-of-range

  6. Pick one position + open Rebalance Simulator

Click any position card to expand. The Rebalance Simulator opens. Enter a proposed new range (e.g., for ETH/USDC out-of-range at $3,200, try low=$2,900 high=$3,500). The simulator shows capital efficiency vs your current range AND projected fee revenue.

Success criteria: Simulator shows comparison between current range and your proposed range

  7. Execute via Uniswap UI (LP Studio is read-only)

If the simulator shows a better config, copy the new range numbers. Open Uniswap UI in another tab. Remove your existing position + create new position with the simulated range. Sign in your wallet. Come back to LP Studio and re-scan to confirm the new position shows correctly.

Success criteria: New rebalanced position visible on next scan

What's next

You have a clean audit of your V3 portfolio. Habit: re-scan weekly. Out-of-range positions are dead capital — either rebalance or remove. Unclaimed fees > $50 = collect them. For sister-tool (issuer planning a NEW pool, not managing existing): use DEX Liquidity Optimizer instead.
