What you'll have when finished

Before you start

  • Marketplace performance metrics are based on the CREATOR's setup — yours may differ
  • Do NOT skip Stress Test + Paper Trading before going live, even on audited strategies
  • A strategy that worked in 2024 may fail in 2025 — regime shifts hit everyone

Walkthrough

  1. Open Marketplace + Browse tab

    Discover → Marketplace. Default lands on Browse. Filter to category = Grid Trading or Mean Reversion (these tend to be more robust starters than scalping or AI-Based for first-time users).

    Success criteria: Browse tab is active and you see strategy cards filtered by your chosen category

  2. Sort by Win Rate (not ROI)

    Change sort to Win Rate. Resist sorting by Best ROI — high-ROI strategies usually carry hidden tail risk. Win Rate at least picks strategies with statistical signal.

    Success criteria: Sort dropdown shows Win Rate selected

  3. Pick a strategy with audit badge + 4.0+ rating + 50+ deployments

    Open detail drawer on candidates. Triple-check: green Audited badge, star rating ≥ 4.0, deployment count ≥ 50. Skip anything with HOT or NEW badge alone — those are popularity signals, not validation signals.

    Success criteria: You have selected one strategy that passes all three thresholds

  4. Click Deploy to Bot — strategy is COPIED to your account

    Click Deploy to Bot. Pick which of your bots to assign it to. The strategy is copied into your Strategy Builder library — you can edit your copy independently without affecting the source. Source deployment counter increments by 1.

    Success criteria: Strategy now appears in your Strategy Builder → My Strategies tab

  5. Stress test on COVID + LUNA + 2023 chop

    Open Stress Test (CEX Trade → Stress Test). Pick your deployed strategy. Run it through 3 scenarios: COVID-19 Black Thursday, LUNA Collapse, Q3 2023 Sideways Chop. Strategy must survive (drawdown lower than market) in all 3 to be worth paper-testing.

    Success criteria: Three stress test runs completed AND results recorded

  6. Paper trade for 7 days

    Open Paper Trading. Start a session with the deployed strategy on ETH/USDT or BTC/USDT. Let it run for 7 days. Compare actual win rate + drawdown to the Marketplace metrics — if very different, do not go live.

    Success criteria: 7 days passed AND paper P&L is within ±30% of Marketplace claim

  7. Leave an honest review

    Back in Marketplace, find the source strategy. Leave a star rating + written review with your real Paper Trading P&L. Be specific — "1.8% over 7 days on ETH/USDT, similar to claimed metrics" beats vague "good strategy". This is how the community signals which strategies survive in real conditions.

    Success criteria: One review posted on the source strategy

What's next

You have validated one strategy honestly. If it passed all 3 stress tests AND paper trading was close to claimed metrics, assign it to a small-capital live bot ($100-500) for 30 days before scaling up. If it failed any test, do NOT go live — the metrics did not survive YOUR validation.
