getting-started

Broadcast your bot events to the haythix community in 5 minutes

5 topic-segmented channels, 2 filters, opt-in only

5 min · beginner

What you'll have when finished

  • Have one display name + filter config saved
  • Be Broadcasting to relevant channels OR consciously private
  • Know how this differs from Live Trade Feed and Outbound Webhooks

Before you start

  • Privacy: only display name + tier broadcast. Wallet / balance / exchange identity NEVER public
  • Broadcasting failures silently drop — never blocks bot engines, never retries (rate-limit protection)
  • For YOUR OWN Discord / Slack / Telegram channels, use Outbound Webhooks (Discover menu) instead

Walkthrough

  1. Open Official Channels + read the explainer

Community → Official Channels. Pink "What is this" panel explains broadcasting + privacy model. 20 seconds of context worth reading before opting in.

Success criteria: You have read the explainer + understand only display name + tier broadcast

  2. Read the 4 KPI cards

Channels (X/Y) = how many of the 5 channels are live. Your status = currently Broadcasting or Private. Display name = your public broadcast identity. Filter = current filter state. The Channels stat reveals how many community broadcast destinations are wired by admins.

Success criteria: You can name how many channels are currently live

  3. Scan the 5 channel cards

Smart Trade Fires (entries + TP/SL), Grid Bot Action (deployments + fills + stops), DCA Accumulation (safety orders + take-profits), Big Wins (large trades), Alerts (custom alert fires). Each channel has a Discord + Telegram endpoint configured by admins.

Success criteria: You know which 1-2 channels match your most-active bot type

  4. Set your display name

Opt-in card → Display Name field. Max 32 chars. This is your public broadcast identity in the community channels. Pick a recognizable but distinct name from your wallet identity (the broadcast does not expose wallet, but you also do not want your handle to leak it).

    Success criteria: Display name set

  5. Configure filters (recommended)

Exclude losses = wins-only mode (curated highlights, removes learning value of public losses). Minimum trade USD = skip dust ($100-$500 typical retail, $5,000 Pro). For first broadcast session, set Min USD = 100 to avoid spamming the channel with tiny fills.

Success criteria: At least one filter is configured (or you decided no filter is right)

  6. Toggle Broadcasting ON

Toggle switch in the opt-in card. Save preferences. Your next bot event broadcasts to the matching community channel under your display name. Watch the Discord / Telegram channel to confirm the first broadcast lands cleanly.

Success criteria: Status flipped from Private to Broadcasting AND your first broadcast appears in the community channel

  7. Adjust or opt out anytime

If the broadcast feels too noisy, tighten filters (raise Min USD, enable Exclude Losses). If you decide broadcasting is not for you, toggle OFF — instant opt-out. Past broadcasts stay in the community channels (cannot retroactively delete from Discord / Telegram).

Success criteria: You have a conscious filter config OR have decided to stay private

What's next

You are publicly broadcasting (or consciously private). For YOUR OWN Discord / Slack / Telegram channels (you control destination), use Outbound Webhooks (Discover menu). For PLATFORM-INTERNAL feed visibility (other haythix users see you on Live Trade Feed), use Live Trade Feed opt-in. Three different audiences, three different opt-in surfaces — pick the right one for the right audience.
