Earn your first Verified Track Record badge

Replace marketing claims with exchange-confirmed numbers

10 min setup + waiting for trade count · beginner

What you'll have when finished

  • Have one connected exchange feeding your real history
  • Know whether you currently qualify for the badge or what you need
  • Understand the 30-day rolling window and 1-hour refresh cooldown

Before you start

  • Connecting an exchange requires READ-ONLY API keys (no withdrawal, no trade). Use the read-only key option in your exchange settings
  • Refresh cooldown of 1 hour is intentional — do not try to bypass it; pulls are expensive
  • Verified badge does NOT guarantee future returns — it only proves past 30 days were real

Walkthrough

  1. Connect a CEX in Settings → Connections

Open Settings → Connections. Pick Coinbase (or Binance US). Generate a READ-ONLY API key in your exchange dashboard — read trade history only, no withdrawal, no trade execution. Paste key + secret into haythix.

Success criteria: Connection shows green status AND a recent successful balance pull

  2. Open Verify Track Record

Discover → Verify Track Record. Page lands with "No verification yet" state and a green "Run First Verification" button.

Success criteria: Run First Verification button visible AND no amber warning about missing exchange

  3. Click Run First Verification

Backend fetches the last 30 days of fills from your connected exchanges. Takes 5-30 seconds depending on trade count. Result panel populates with: total trades, win rate, total realized P&L, max DD, longest win streak, longest loss streak, average win, average loss, qualifiesForBadge boolean.

Success criteria: Result panel displays stats AND qualifiesForBadge is either true or false

  4. Read the qualifiesForBadge result

TRUE = you meet the threshold (typically ≥5 trades + positive win rate + positive realized P&L + DD within bounds). Badge is now attached to your profile. FALSE = you do not yet qualify — the panel explains which threshold you missed.

Success criteria: You can articulate why you currently do or do not qualify

  5. If you qualify: check Pro+ tier requirement for publishing

Anyone can VIEW their own stats. PUBLISHING the badge to Marketplace listings, Copy Trading bot cards, Top Traders rows requires Pro tier+. If you are not on Pro tier and want to publish, upgrade via Settings → Subscription.

Success criteria: You know whether your tier supports publishing the badge

  6. If you do NOT qualify: trade more and re-check next month

Low trade count (< 5) is the most common disqualification. Add another 5-10 trades over the next few weeks then re-run. You can refresh once per hour — but daily checks for badge-eligibility are wasted; do it weekly at most.

Success criteria: You have a plan to either trade more or wait the cooldown out

What's next

You have ground truth on your last 30 days. Next: if qualified, publish a strategy on the Marketplace using [[marketplace-first-deploy]] reverse-flow (publish via Creator Dashboard). If not qualified, focus on trade count + discipline — verification is computed from real history, not effort.
